The Open Enrollment Period for health insurance coverage in 2017 will begin on 11/1/16. Please read the following information carefully. The way in which we purchase medical, dental and vision coverage has changed.
Depending on what your income is and how many people are in your family, you may be able to qualify for a highly subsidized policy. You will find a "get started" button and several links on this page to assist you. By filling out the form, you will find out if you qualify for premium discounts, subsidies for out-of-pocket expenses or coverage under Medicare or Medicaid.

If you do not qualify for a subsidy because your combined individual or family income is under $16,243 or over $95,400, we have other plans available. (Based on a family of 4 members.)

Blue Cross/Blue Shield of IL Plan Options (Medical Plans with Dental Riders)
Remember there are no more pre-existing conditions. You cannot be charged an additional fee or be rejected due to your health conditions.
During open enrollment (11/1/16 - 1/31/17), if you enroll:
*You must apply between 11/1/16 and 12/15/16 for a 1/1/17 effective date.
If you do not apply at all, you may receive a penalty or fine in 2017.
If you qualify, you may be able to enroll during the special enrollment period, SEP, 60 days following certain life events. If you have not done so, please consider enrolling before your time runs out or you will not be eligible until the fall open enrollment.
You may be eligible to enroll later if you lose your current coverage, get married, get divorced or have a child. (These are all life events.)
